Catania - The Financiers of the Naval Operations Section of Catania have seized 43 specimens of novel swordfish with a total weight of 85 kilos. The checks were carried out by the Yellow Flames at the small port of Ognina in Catania, during the Sunday market, and made it possible to identify two subjects responsible for the violations, against whom the relative administrative sanctions and seizures were raised.
The seized fish product, judged suitable for human food consumption by the veterinarians of the Catania ASP, was entirely donated to a local charitable association.
